Château Guibeau offre una visita amichevole che vi presenterà la storia della famiglia, la cultura della vite, la vinificazione e l’allevamento dei suoi vini certificati dall’agricoltura biologica dall’annata 2012. Al termine della visita, vi verrà offerto un picnic gourmet (salumi, formaggi, pane, frutta, Bordeaux canelés) nel parco del castello, di fronte al suggestivo panorama, accompagnato da uno o due bicchieri di vino. proprietà.

La nostra storia
HISTORY Henri Bourlon is the direct descendant of a frenchman who established himself in Mexico during the Maximilian conquest in the XIX th century After returning to France, Henri bourlon’s father bought GUIBEAU and married the neighbours’daughter who owned Château GUIBOT La Fourvieille. Thus, the 41 hectares vineyard was born. Today, Brigitte, Henri Bourlon’s daughter, and her husband Eric manage the vineyard. LOCATION The 41 hectares vineyard, in which we mainly grow Merlot, but also Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, located over one of the highest points of the Bordeaux region in the village of Puisseguin.
THE RESPECT FOR OUR LAND :
The vineyard is certified « Agriculture raisonnée ». Successfull wine-growing hinges both on the wine-grower’s attentive care and flair and the pace of the seasons. Throughout the year, the many needs of the vineyard are met by a motivated and closely-knit team whose objective is to produce quality wines while respecting man and the environment.
THE WINE MAKING PROCESS :
The grapes are picked when perfectly matured and are made into wine in thermoregulated tanks. Then, the wine age 12 to 16 months in carefully chosen oak barrelsTHE WINES Brigitte and Eric are convinced that the quality of their wines is the direct result of the respect they have for the land that they love.Their wines are well known accross France as well as in Europe, North and Central America and Asia.s.

Très belle expérience ! Accueil chaleureux et amical. Explication intéressante du domaine avec explication détaillée des expériences, du passé du domaine et des techniques utilisées ainsi que des réponses à toutes nos questions. La dégustation a été une expérience instructive et savoureuse pour les amateurs de vin (pas de connaisseurs) que nous sommes. Ensuite, nous avons fait un très beau pique-nique avec une vue magnifique sur le domaine et un vin de notre choix. Si nous repassons dans la région, nous reviendrons sans aucun doute ici !

Our guide was great. She explained a lot of technical things that were new including the egg white method. It was great to be there during harvest. The tasting included a couple of special wines. The plate of cheese was a nice bonus.
I would highly recommend the tour with a tasting and picnic. Brigitte was very friendly and the tour was interesting. The wines were very tasty and the picnic was superb. We really felt welcome at Chateau Guibeau. Such a lovely family experience, rather than a commercial one. Now we need to find the wines in the UK. :-)

The best wine tour we ever had. Brigitte was a delightful host who was very engaging and entertaining and gave us a great insight into the life of a winemaker. We tasted some lovely wine and brought a few bottles home to Ireland. We will call back next time we are in St Emilion.
Brigitte was a very friendly and knowledgeable host . We learnt some new and interesting things about the growing process and challenges in Saint-Emiilion region and the Chateau and grounds are beautiful. We would love to have enjoyed a picnic but the weather was very changeable . We thoroughly enjoyed tasting the lovely wines of Chateau Giubeau and shall enjoy drinking them on our return to Portugal.

Fabulous day tasting the wine and learning about the vineyard. Beautiful picnic provided, highly recommended.
It was a warm and friendly tour given by the hostess of the Chateau. Probably due to Covid, it turned out to be a private tour for me and my wife. We really enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about how the wine yard in this region is working.
The people at Chateau Guibeau are extremely friendly and give a very nice tour. The meal combo with tasting is a great value! Ruben & the girls

We had a fabulous time with Brigitte! She was so friendly and personal. We felt like she became our friend immediately. It was a laid-back, casual experience with lots of two-way conversation. The wines were delicious, and the picnic lunch was beautiful and outstanding! We hope to come back again sometime.

We had a perfect lunch and tasting here. So relaxed, friendly and genuine - we were shown around by the owner who is 5th generation of the vineyard and chateau. I loved the explanations and descriptions of wine making and tasting - so vivid and something that finally made sense to me. The picnic and wine we enjoyed on the grounds overlooking the vines was absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much.

The owner (son) was very nice, engaging and fun to speak with. We had a very nice visit here. We didn't purchase because the prices were a little too high for us.
